Southeastern Grocers

The Southeastern Grocers Community Bag & Giving Tag Program was created to support the communities served by BI-LO, Harveys, Winn-Dixie, and Fresco y Más and the causes that impact their customers.

The Southeastern Grocers Community Bag and Giving Tag Program launches on January 1, 2019 at every BI-LO, Harveys, Winn-Dixie, and Fresco y Más store – covering the states of North and South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. Every month, at each store within the SEG footprint, a new non-profit is chosen to be the beneficiary of the Community Bag. The Community Bag supports Education, Health & Wellness, Hunger Relief, Civic and Military/Veterans and Disaster Relief organizations. Attached to the Community Bag is the Giving Tag, which allows the shopper to direct the $1 purchase donation to any cause of their choice.

This exciting innovation of the B4MC program allows for a much broader base of non-profits to receive donations through the program and empowers the shopper the power to help the non-profits that are making a difference in their communities. In turn, our outreach will expand from one non-profit per store per month to hundreds or even thousands per month.
